I found this abundance of someone's shoujo/anime fanart conjuring up old obsessions in me. Its a beautiful thing when drawing a character in a dress prettier than she's ever known or eating the sweets you wish you were eating, is just so fulfilling. Wouldn't you agree?

Much like the patrons of the Ouran High School Host Club find themselves addicted to its charms, I too have caught the disease. The anime/manga series features an intelligent young female who lives out her days as a male host in order to pay off her to debt to the host club. Anyone who reads shoujo is in no way impressed at this point I'm guessing. So what makes this different? Sure all the guys are in love with her as is typical, but the show is just so funny! Amidst all the cliches are some genuinely hilarious moments of sheer joy (for me anyway). Maybe I should be more embarassed for myself. Click here to shop the series.

What does it say about me that I ADORE these Otomen manga covers? This funny shoujo series is about a gorgeous guy who is doing everything to hide the fact that he is a girl at heart!! Then one day he meets a girl who is a tomboy and you can guess the rest! Awww he even makes her bento box lunches like the ones I just posted. To see more of the series click here.
